Jeff Smith of Salt & Light Ministries in Chiang Mai
Powerpack Thailand are honoured to have had the privilege of hosting
Jeff Smith of Salt & Light Ministries in Chiang Mai.
Jeff has developed many resources for creative arts and in particular the 'God Rod' dramas. We have used some of these dramas in Powerpack in Thailand and also in the UK. In order to have more impact on Thai audiences, we have translated several of the soundtracks into Thai language.
The dramas have been performed in children's conferences and celebrations as well as in outreaches to hospitals, schools, community events, children's homes and refugee camps.
We have been in touch with Jeff and Salt & Light ministries to explore the possibility of producing some of the resources in Thai. This eventually led to God opening up a door for Jeff to actually come to Chiang Mai as part of his annual mission trip.
Jeff is from the same home church in Richmond, Virginia, USA, as Bill and Lynette Sharp who are teachers at Grace International School.
Baan Saan Fan
Jeff arrived in Chiang Mai around mid-day on Tues 6th and that same evening came with us to visit the children at Baan Saan Fan. Jeff had a great time with the children and helped them to practice the dramas that they were due to share at the coming weekend conference.
